2. Data We Collect
AmorePDF does not require registration and does not upload your files to any server. PDF files you process stay entirely within your browser and are never transmitted to our servers. The only browsing data we collect comes from Vercel Web Analytics, a statistical analytics tool that does not use cookies or persistent identifiers: it identifies visits with a hash calculated from the request, discarded within 24 hours. The data collected (pages visited, traffic source, device type, approximate geographic area) is aggregated and cannot be traced back to an individual visitor (source: Vercel Web Analytics Privacy Policy).
3. Cookies
The site uses only technically necessary cookies required for its operation. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies. For full details see our Cookie Policy.
4. Legal Basis and Purpose
Anonymous browsing data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) in order to improve the performance and user experience of the site. Under the Italian Data Protection Authority's Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools (10 June 2021), tools that collect only aggregated statistical data, without combining it with other processing or transmitting it to third parties, are treated the same as technical cookies and therefore do not require consent.

Data collected through Vercel Web Analytics is retained for 30 days (on the Hobby plan; a different retention window may apply if the plan changes).
